Dr. Subhasis Das’s focus of the study is the physiological functions of a novel member of a protein kinase family, called Mixed Lineage Kinases (MLKs), can target both Ser/Thr and Tyr residues for phosphorylation. How MLKs (mainly MLK3 and MLk4) play major role in hormone receptors (AR, ER, and PR), and epidermal growth factor receptors (EGFR, ERBB2-4) driven breast tumor progression and metastasis. "
